With individual therapy, individuals meet with a therapist one-on-one during sessions. They discuss certain factors, including the individual’s condition, symptoms, coping skills, and more, and determine healthier coping behaviors that may be more effective in dealing with situations.
Couples who are facing challenges in their relationship need to be open to communication to resolve them. Going to therapy allows a couple to be guided in talking about their issues and coming up with solutions.
